                  Item # 521409

                  Olympia Richmond Jacket

The Olympia Richmond Jacket takes multiseason touring comfort to the next level with a fully waterproof exterior and Olympia’s Advanced Venting System, allowing for direct venting to the rider. Six fold-back vents with watertight zippers, located at either side of the torso, both shoulders and exhausts on either side of the back, create an aggressive airflow design to draw fresh air through the waterproof shell and pull heat and moisture out the back.

The waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed Reissa membrane is set away from the skin by a cool mesh comfort liner and complemented by a slick stowaway under-helmet hood and neck gaiter for complete wet-weather protection. In colder temperatures the zip-out Insulex full-sleeve liner can be easily installed for additional warmth, and when removed, it is remarkably compact to be easily packed away in luggage. In addition to all the ergonomic touring functionality built into the Olympia Richmond Jacket, CE Motion Flex armor is included at the elbows, shoulders and back, resulting in a touring jacket that will protect you from anything you may encounter on your next adventure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket I just recieved my jacket and I have to say, it's very well built. I am a very big guy so I worried about sizing but it fits good. I have a 54 chest and a 56 inch around the belly button line and the 4x fits good. I normally wear a 2x or 3x.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Bargain A high quality jacket. The description really does the perfect job of telling you what this jacket is all about. I'm 5' 10'' , 172lbs, with a narrow torso, and not the broadest of shoulders. I bought the medium and small. I have never taken a size small, but this is an American cut. I returned the medium, although I could have made it work, I prefer a snugger fit for motorcycle gear as it keeps the armour right in place ( I tend to slide on the pavement from time to time). For me the small is snug in the arms with the liner in, but so was the medium. It does seem to break in or loosen up with wear. Good price, great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket! I have been using this jacket for a few months now and I love it. In direct sun just sitting around it is hot but it vents very well and fits great. Very adjustable, and has removable armor so you can opt out or upgrade it easily. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone who stumbles across this review, I did my search and it took me a while to decide on this, and I am very happy about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Appears to be a warm jacket I purchased this because it came in day glow green. I originally purchased a 3X and when it cam it was small. Normaly I wear a 3X. I retuned it an re-ordered a 4X and it fits quite well. I have been riding back and forth to work for the past week here in Calgary about +1 to +5 and found it kept me very warm . I like the inner liner for removal when the weather starts to get hot. Not as many zip opens like my old Joe Rocket but overall a good jacket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet jacket! I bought this jacket after trying on the wrong size in a store. I liked it, so ordered it here. It's awesome! Lots of adjustments to fit, plenty of pockets, warm and quite waterproof. I know nothing's waterproof, but this jacket does an excellent job. Had it out in near freezing weather and also in blistering rain and I can say it's comfortable and holds up well. I love it! Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket with some nice features I bought the jacket a while ago and wanted to wait until the fall to try the liner and see how good it was in cooler weather. It did not disappoint. The jacket has lots of extra features including full protection, vents to open for hot weather, nice quilted liner for cooler weather. I have not had a chance to test the waterproofing in a downpour but can say I stayed dry in a light rain. There is also lots of pockets for all your stuff. Well made motorcycle jacket.

HI, Just wondering if the Armour is changeable ?

                  Asked by: Deet
The Armour can be removed from the velcro pockets but not sure where you can purchase replacements!

How good is this in cold weather, say in autumn when its -5 in the morning but will be 10 later in the day? Am I going to need to wear another layer under it, or will the jacket be enough?

                  Asked by: Telesko
The jacket comes with a removable insulated liner which adds a fair bit warmth. Having a sweatshirt on underneath will be enough for the colder days!

Will this jacket zip together with my joe rocket pants that I bought a few years ago?

                  Asked by: Dory
I don't know as I don't have Joe Rocket pants. But get this Jacket, it is the best jacket I have ever had. Not so good in cool weather but in hot weather it is fantastic. I also find it light compared to my other riding jackets.

whats chest size for large and arm length?

                  Asked by: loupgarou
First of all, I love my Richmond Jacket. It has all the features I wanted. EG: Lots of ventilation, a really warm inner liner for those cold early spring days, road rash protection galore ( I removed the shoulder patches & got more vertical room for my tall frame. I am a tall guy; 6'5' - 300 lbs - 36 inch arm length. Taking into consideration that I wanted a little extra room in the jacket for heavy shirts or a vest, I opted to order one size larger, and I am sure glad I did. My suggestion is this: Check the Fortnine size charts carefully, then order one size larger.

How does the inner liner attach to the outer eg zipper or button

                  Asked by: Bill
Two zippers, one on each side in the front, two elastic straps in the sleeves and one strap on the neck.
