Rated 5 de 5 de par Works as promised I picked up an older snowmobile in the fall and needed a helmet. Since I already have a few motorbike helmets I figured there was not much difference between a snowmobile helmet and a bike helmet. I decided to try the duel lens shield since I have trouble with my Bell fogging up in the rain and in the spring and fall when the weather is a little cooler so I figured this might be a good compromise. I've worn it on some pretty cold days in the last few weeks (-20c) and it has preformed really well. The shield stays clear. The helmet on the other hand is not ideal if you wear glasses. The shield stays clear but my glasses fog up instead. The breath deflector / shield in the bell helmet does little to deflect your breath down and away from you glasses.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Only anti-fogging option for older Bell helmets I have an older entry-level Bell Vortex helmet. Got it cheap, but there are no Pinlock anti-fog inserts available for it. I live in Winnipeg, and when it is colder outside, my visor fogs up right away. Very annoying. This double-pane visor is not as elegant as Pinlock inserts, but it gets the job done. Rode for an hour today at +3C, and it didn’t fog up. It doesn’t fit 100% perfect, and needs to be closed with a little bit of effort, but this is minor. If temperature-related fogging of the visor is an issue, I would recommend this product.
