A complete waste of time and money
These provide no detectable improvement in wind protection.
First of all, they are too short, protruding only about one inch above the hand guards. Secondly, they sit too far outboard, centred on the part of the guard where it wraps around to join the end of the bar rather than being in front of your hand. At best they shield your pinky fingers a bit. They should be twice as tall and twice as wide to be effective.
Definitely not up to the standard you would expect from Acerbis.

Could be bigger...
Price is good but they could be a little bigger/higher to block more wind from your hands but they are better than nothing...come on Acerbic, I expect better from you! Would be nice if they came in colour choices other than black too! Not too hard to install but it would be helpful if the holes were previously marked where you have to drill on the hand guards instead of guessing and hoping for the best!

Excellent Accessory
Replaced the stock wind deflectors on my DR650 with the Acerbis hand guards to add a bit of strength. Unfortunately, they offer insufficient wind protection for the below-freezing mornings. These inexpensive little spoilers take minutes to install, and provide enough protection from the wind to avoid switching to cold weather gloves. Not sure how they would stand up to crashes or trees, but they appear very sturdy. Only improvement for me would be slightly larger still.
