hi friends ...i bought the akrapovich 2 month ago, and i like so much the look it put on my z-900 , i am a 64 year young sport bike rider , and i realy love the sound level , but for the youngers riders.....you may wont more sound than these , for me , this akra is real music , ferrari sound .

Looks great sounds great
I bought this about a month ago and it looks amazing and definitely sounds better than the stock exhaust on the R1. If you think it's going to be really loud though you will be disappointed. I will be pairing with the link pipe on the future because i would like a little more noise and the additional weight reduction. Install of the can is very easy the Carbon fiber shield however takes a little work getting it into place.

High quality neck snapper!
Couldn’t be more satisfied with this exhaust. My bike lost about 13lbs ditching the factory exhaust and sounds stunning. Super high quality, definitely overkill for my application but it’s appreciated. Easy install, and comes with all necessary hardware. If your going for sound, be sure to remove the baffle.. your bike will become “woke”

Great exhaust system
I would give this product 5 star rating in a heart beat if it wasn't for the fact that after purchasing headers and slip on exhaust I found out it does not come with heat shields between foot rest and passenger foot rest to keep me from melting my pants and for my AT heat shields are not available from Akrapovich. One would imagine company with such great reputation would step up to the plate and come up with one.

Honestly videos don’t do this justice sounds soooo much louder on my mt-03 compared to stock. It pops and screams sooo much better. Love this thing

What a difference
I have the Akrapovic exhaust on my 2020 Aprilia Shiver for over a month now. A very noticeable improvement on engine performance. Slightly louder than stock exhaust . Installation took longer than I expected at just over 3 hours , but I took my time to avoid mistakes. The under seat heat shield did not fit as described, but works well with minor modifications. Very pleased with exhaust..

Exactly what you need.
The icky stock exhaust has to go and you know it :). This baby is easier to install than your stock is to take off, all in all a 5 minute pit stop that's worth it !

Questions
Does this slip on come with a silencer / insert?
This is a whole piece without removable baffles. It is EC approved and conforms to strict EU regulations for street use and satisfy all conditions for exhaust system noise levels and safety. Noise levels are lower, but the recognizable Akrapovic sound is still there.

Does this come with the carbon heat shield OEM part # P-HSK9S01?
I've seen the occasional Akra silencer with a silver-ish emblem on the side. The picture for this silencer has a black, red, yellow emblem. Does this product from Fortnine have an option or does this one have the colourful emblem affixed?
If an Akrapovic is installed does the bike’s computer need to be reconfigured due to changing from stock muffler, i.e. will engine run lean or richer due to change in muffler? BMW 2011 R1200RT
No changes required. It’s strictly plug and play. Only slight performance gain...beautiful exhaust note!
