Perfect size for the garage; lots of good features
After some messy work on my motorcycle and cleaning parts by hand, it was time to buy a parts washer. The reviews on this site and others led me to this model.
It's the perfect size for bench top work in the garage, and stores beneath my bench when not in use. I am using Oil Eater water based solvent - the stated capacity of the washer is 20L (~5 gal) but I filled the tank with 1 gallon of solvent and less than 2 gallons of water. With this amount the fluid level is just above the bottom of the filter basket, and the pump is in no danger of running dry.
The brush is a good size and shape and the flow of solvent in moderate. It can splash so I advise safety glasses, nitrile gloves and old clothes, and working in a well ventilated area. Water based solvent, which is required for this parts washer, takes longer to clean parts compared to stronger products like Varsol or mineral spirits, but it is also less hazardous.
When I use the washer I remove the drain cap but leave the filter basket in place. It does a good job of catching dirt and grime. And I keep the parts and brush as low as possible to keep spatter to a minimum.
Note that the parts washer is not quite watertight, so even closed and latched it's best to keep it level when moving it around. I wouldn't worry about evaporation in the short term, but for longer storage it doesn't look hard to plug the gaps.
I recommend this product. I have attached some photos to this review; you can see all of my photos of the parts washer at https://www.flickr.com/photos/rests/albums/72157715487627126

Water-based solvents, only!
Water-based solvents, only! If you use an organic solvent, it will destroy all rubber components, including your pump, just like it did for me!

Perfect and a great price point!
Bought this for use in my small engines classroom. Wroks like a dream and able to use aqueous-based cleaners to meet Board requirements.

Well designed unit
This parts washer works well and is portable. Easy to use and the sealed lid keeps the wash solution ready for the next use. Stopper drain in the bottom is a bit hard to get in and out. This is much better than the old pail and brush of the past.

Questions
How would this hold up to 99% ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL?
How much solvent does this hold?
It uses about a 4L jug, simple green or any organic degreaser and water mix works good, I put a varsol type solvent in it and it ruined the unit so stay with the softer type cleaners. Handy unit, its very transportable, but a bit small. god for a home garage or bike trailer at the track.
