My Beemer is a 1973. The catalog item shows that the mufflers would fit 1972 models & prior years.

However, judging from the photos, I was confident that they would fit my BMW. I called customer service & they checked with their supplyer. the latter didn't feel that the mufflers were the right replacement parts for 1973.
I ordered a pair anyway because my mufflers were in pretty bad shape, and Customer service informed me that I could return them if they did not fit. They fitted perfectly.

Is that only one side pipe, it doesnt say if right or left...
It is only one side pipe. When ordering, specify the side you require.
I purchased both sides and they fitted perfectly my 1973 BMW R75.
