Plug and play installation (as far as a stator goes, anyway). Works as described and appears to be of high quality. Only thing that's a pain is that there is no option to purchase a stator cover gasket with it - a necessary requirement when replacing the stator on many bikes. I had to source this elsewhere (the US). It would be nice if Fort 9 stocked these as well - doesn't make sense to sell a stator without a corresponding cover gasket, IMO. One star off the rating for that. Otherwise, great product and a seamless purchasing experience from Fort 9 as per usual.

Mechanic said it appeared to be good quality. Also stated it was difficult to install. Had to remove a sprocket, floor board and gear shift, and loosen motor mount to get at it. (4 hours labour). Time will tell how long it lasts.

Cracked coating
I bought one and it came with the green coating damaged. They sent me another one as a replacement and it came with the same defect but worse than the first one even though the boxes had quality check stickers on them.

Decent alternative to OEM price.
The quality of the product seems pretty good. I did have to swap the blue and green wires in the connection terminal for my DRZ400SM to have spark and run.

Brand for price
Great price and super fast delivery as always. Sadly after I got the stator changed and bike worked fine for 3 wks before engine light turned off giving me code 35. My mechanic has to see what’s wrong.
