                  Description

Rated 1 de 5 de par Fell apart Bought these two years ago. After one season they wouldn’t work and I got the white light indicating a power problem. I guess from pushing the button too many times (hardly), all the teeny wires soldered to the controller board came loose. Maybe the pocket that holds the switch is too soft and the wires were allowed to move around until they broke. I called Koso and they wouldn’t help me so I got the switch out and got the wires soldered back on. Good for a while but now the right side doesn’t work. I liked the design and really wanted and needed these to work. It gets really cold here.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Very nice heated grip option I put these on my Ural motorcycle, and have two different brands of heated grips on my other two bikes. In contrast to the other models, these have no controller mounted separately on the handlebars, like Oxford grips. That frees up your handlebar real estate for other items, and mine are getting crowded. It also means that things like brush guards are unaffected by the installation. I had no problems installing these myself. I used a piece of snare wire as a fish line to push through under the tank, looped on the power cord and ran it back to the battery. Easy to do with no tank removal required. The whole installation took me an hour or so and was painless (and I'm no motorcycle mechanic). The local shop wanted $250 for installation alone... so well worth getting these for that reason alone. As far as function, these work great. They get very warm on high, warmer than my Yamaha grips on my WR250 and about the same as the Oxfords. Some have complained about the switch breaking. There is a warning on the package to 'lightly' touch the switch to turn the grips on and off and cycle through the heat settings. The switch feels very responsive with a light thumb press, and easy to use so if you just respect that and don't let kids or strangers eff around with your bikes (I mean, of course you don't), I think these will last a long time. With a three second press on the switch, the grips turn off. When you tap the switch again, the grips revert to the same heat setting they were on when you turned them off. If you just shut the bike off with your key (I wired them into switched power in the headlight) then they reset to the lowest heat setting. Nice feature. I ride every day of the year with a few exceptions, so I need my motorcycle gear to work. These work great. Very well priced as well. Shipping was very quick. All in all, these are as good or better than any other heated grips I have ever used.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Great electric system The intrigrated switch is the best out there and works flawlessly. Heat is also fantastic. However, the texture of the grip is very poor and diameter of grip is too large. So holding on to the grips feels not so nice, in fact it sucks.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Work perfectly . Got them on in enough time to enjoy early rides in single digit temps . They were a struggle to install , but that wasn't the fault of the grips , it was the size of the bikes throttle tube (2018 Moto-Guzzi Eldorado)

Rated 4 de 5 de par Nice sleek design. Installed them a few weeks ago so I can’t provide any long term use feedback. The styling is very nice and the LED is clear and bright enough to see in sunshine. The max temperature appears to be very good. Installation was simple and it is so much nicer to not have a big temperature controller on the handle bars like I have had with other brands. The glue provided did not work at all. Used Gorilla Clear Grip glue instead.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is the difference between a thumb throttle and a twist throttle?

                  Posée par: Grant
A thumb throttle is a essentially a small push lever next to the grip that you would push to accelerate, used mostly on ATVs. A twist throttle means that you twist the grip itself to accelerate.

Are the left and right grips independently controlled, each with button or both grips controlled together? If only one grip control button sets temperature set point and function for both grips is the button on the 7/8" grip or the 1" twist grip?

                  Posée par: Delta
One button on the left 7/8 " grip controlles both sides.

Do you purchase 120mm or 130mm for a 2016 Triumph street triple

                  Posée par: Anonyme
The speed Triple std grips are 124MM L and as such I would recommend going with the 120 mm heated grips as you don't want to be trimming the 130 mm heated grips to fit. Hope that helps.
