Great tire
I usually run the Dunlop d606 on my ktm 525, but I figured I would try something new. Glad I did! Far better muddy/Sandy traction than the d606 and I feel like it has better traction on he asphalt in the turns as well. Great tire, wear seems to be about the same as the d606, but far better grip.

Great traction, but wears quickly
This rear 130/80-18 tire was used 30% on road and 70% dirt on an fully modified XR650L in the Coastal mountains of Canada on rocky, challenging terrain. I am an aggressive rider that routinely rides at the highest speed that is appropriate for the conditions. Traction was great through the entire life of this tire with lateral traction holding strong until the end. Like other reviewers this tire only lasted 1500km when I normally get 2500km (Dunlop 606, Motoz Tractionator). At 800km large cracks appear at the base of 1/3rd of the center blocks, and at 1300km a one full center block of rubber ripped off at the crack and other blocks were missing chunks of rubber at the cracks. After riding on the rear D606, the Tractionator and MT-21, I found that the D606 performs the best and is the best value.

good front mated to dunlop d606 rear
put on my 2019 Honda CRF250L with a dunlop d606 at rear replacing stock rubber (Ryan F9's rec'd dunlop rear, pirelli front), super awesome off road, 100x better than stock, way better feedback - you can feel it starting to scrub a bit but gives lots of warning so can easily compensate - the stock tires let you know just as you're crashing....
on road are quite good - not as good as stock (which are 70% on road), still a bit wary of leaning too much, but so far no panic moments at all, and cruising at 100-110 no issues at all
a bit louder and choppier at times on pavement, but above 50kmh the engine and wind noise drowns it out, so not really an issue.
stock size 120/80 18, replaced w/ d606, 120/90 18. mt21 is 90/90 21, stock 3.00x21 both perfect fit, no clearance issues or modifcations/changes needed at all.

Better then d606
I ride my 690 off road every weekend. and ride it to work the rest of the week (100km round trip on the road to work).. I got 2800km of the rear and 7600km on the front.. I ride my bike hard. These tires r worth it. D606 r great I had them in my xr650l but the perellies last longer

Great traction and decent life
I've had this Pirelli MT21 as a rear tire on my Africa Twin as a test. It's exceeded my expectations - lasted 4,300 kilometres and really is an excellent gravel and trail tire. It's worked in all conditions - decent road tire (noisy though), good in gravel/sand/muck, and even worked in mud right to the end of it's life. I'd buy one again for local riding or medium distance off-road adventure touring.

Very happy with the off-road performance
I bought this front tire, paired with a Kenda K760 rear, and I am very happy with both. I'm riding varying terrain from flat dirt and gravel backroads/secondary roads to steep washed-out climbs and drops, sand, loose rock/pebble, hard pack, and a bit of mud here and there. I never feel particularly stable on deep-ish freshly graded gravel or loose gravel over hard-pack, but these give me a lot more confidence than the 50/50 (on road/off road) stock tires that they replaced. They feel solid on dirt, sand, and hard pack and have gotten me through some messy, rutty mud sections. They howl on the pavement but that's to be expected since they're barely DOT worthy. I will definitely be the same when these wear out.

Very good front tire, average for rear
came from the popular mt21 front d606 rear I decided to try the mt21 rear instead of d606 last year, while the tracking is good, d606 was better in mud. still the best tire for the front though!

Questions
Hi! Is the 120 90 17 rear tubeless?
Looks like both Pirelli and Fortnine dropped the ball on indicating this on tire size. I would treat this as Tube Type until further notice. You can probably run it safely offroad with a tubliss system or something similar, If you're on public roads, run a tube. YMMV

can i use tubes in these tires for my 2016 klr 650 ? thanks
Yep you can. Run tubes with em on my 690.
