Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maxxis IT, lives up to it's reputation A good, durable 'do-it-all' tire, not the best in any specific terrain but does quite well everywhere. Thread pattern favoring harder soil, I was actualy surprised how well it did in muddy conditions. Rode 70km of rocky trails on a rear flat tire due to an inner tube failure (not the tire's fault) and despite the abuse not one single knob got chunked or tore off. Very impressed with the durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all round tire This tire works well in everything from Wet muck/clay/roots to dry hard pack and loose rocks, I would recommend it for anyone who rides and wants a single tire to do everything. It seems to wear very slowly. (but I am running tubliss for the first time with this tire so that may be related to the long tire life.) For a true hardcore hard enduro racer with endless pockets I would probably go with something super gummy for the wet. It's a great tire for all conditions.

No. Tube only. Get heavy duty tubes and run low pressure on rocky terrain.
