49N 26" Vintage Nutted Road Wheel

An affordable freewheel-compatible wheelset with a durable 36H single wall construction and premium Stainless Steel spokes to fit older/classic road bikes built around the 26 x 1-3/8" (590 mm ISO) wheel size.

Features:

• Alex Rims X404 pinned construction classic box-section single wall rim brushed sidewalls a generous 20 mm internal width for compatibility with a wide range of tire widths
• Joytech Nutted steel hubs with serviceable cup and cone bearings
• Front hub uses smaller diameter 5/16" axle for compatibility with the smaller fork slots on older Raleigh 3-speeds (compatible with standard 9 mm dia. dropouts also)
• Conventional screw-on freewheel fitting (6/7sp compatible) - axle can be respaced for 5sp compatibility
• Plain gauge 2.0 mm SUS304 Stainless Steel spokes with 12 mm brass nipples
