Description
The BORDO GRANIT XPlus™ 6500 Folding Lock is quite literally a tough nut for bike thieves to crack since it incorporates "granite", or at least the ABUS take on it; 5.5mm bars manufactured from specially hardened steel and connected with special rivets, which offer protection against even the most determined of attacks. Excellent for eBikes
I use this on my eBike when I have to make short stops about town. It is great because eBikes with integrated batteries typically have much thicker downtubes and that combined with the bigger frame in general make it impossible to use a standard U-Lock to secure an eBike to a typical bike rack that you'd find installed on the sidewalk in a city. I went with the 110cm size instead of the 85cm one and am very glad I did, it gives that extra room needed to accommodate any less-than-ideal placement of your eBike relative to the structure you are securing it too. Yes its heavier than the Granite 6000 but I carry it in my pannier and the weight isn't noticeable.

Very solid lock
The Bordo 6500 lock is a beast. It is quite heavy duty and I am sure it provides very good protection, which is the reason I chose it. The locking mechanism is secure and robust, and the links are very strong. It is heavier and larger than I imagined. The holder that comes with the lock is very nice and mounted to the frame of my mountain bike via the water bottle holder mounting points, it is also very secure with no movement or vibration whatsoever. The 85cm lock is a bit short short if attempting to lock around larger diameter poles, or wind it through the wheel and the frame.
