Don't fit a CRF300L
Without modifications these hand guards don’t fit the stock handle bar of a CRF300L. As a possible solution is to use m6 bolds at the bar end (what I did) but also the alignment of the handle guard brackets is not a straightforward match.

Can take a hit
As mentioned by a few others the absolute fit isn’t quite 100% I’d say on my bike it’s closer to 98%The beveled section on the end of the expander no matter how tightly held against the bar ends always goes slightly off centre once full tightened, more or less just has to do with the bend angle on the handlebars doesn’t effect performance and no one can really tell. As for performance these things can take a hard spill and still be fine! Best purchase I made they have saved me from more then one broken lever moment. Took a nasty digger power sliding on a wide S turn doing approximately 40km worst bit of damage was one of the screws that holds the plastic guard on stripped out. Little jb weld and it was like nothing happened. I fully expected the plastic to shatter at that speed and force of impact, so money well spent

Good fit, strong, looks great.
Picked up for a 2020 WR450F, looks great but needed to adjust break lever towards centre to miss contact with the guard (like 1/2”), had to drill out plastic throttle end cap to 5/8” to fit the expansion bolt but they clamped on nice and tight without the shims for a clean look. The guards flex a little as well so with a little force they can adjust nicely for that fine tuning on position. This bike sees nothing but deep forest trails in Alberta back country and have stood up to some heavy tree branches that has sent the rider for unwanted air time but fingers are good.

easy install
Hand guards arrived in about a week after ordering. I think the red guards match the honda red almost perfectly. I loosely fit everything on bike before tightening bolts. I used a dremel tool to cut the end off the plastic throttle tube and hand grips. They feel solid and look good. Will see how they work when the 6 feet of snow melts

Fits good, solid build!
Installed them on my 2018CRF450RX they went on pretty easy, took about an hour taking my time. I haven’t went down on them yet but they seem very well built. The red matches the Honda red perfect.
