Description
AGV K-5 S E2205 motorcycle helmet. A premium sport helmet by AGV, now even more comfortable thanks to its new inner liner construction. AGV's latest version of this premium sport helmet now features a new construction for the inner liner, designed with high-performance fabrics and with no stitching in sensitive areas, making for an extremely comfortable fit. The lightweight shell is made from a carbon/fiberglass mix, while stability and aerodynamic performance are maximized thanks to an incorporated spoiler. The Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) has vents that are hollowed into the shell, and there's also an internal drop-down sun visor, a removable nose guard and a new wind protector that keeps noise to a minimum.

- EPS inner lining available in 4 sizes with 4 different densities
- Shell and EPS dimensions are optimized using the FEM (Finite Elements Analysis)
- Ventilation system: IVS consisting of one chin guard vent, 2 front air vents and an air extractor with rear on/off switch
- Central front air vent built into the shell profile with direct high air flow channel
- Rear spoiler integrated into the shell profile
- Removable and washable liner and cheek pads
- Neck roll is made of Shalimar fabric with a water-resistant treatment, preventing water from channeling inside the helmet
- Cheek pads made from Ritmo fabric with Sanitized anti-bacterial treatment, 2Dry moisture wicking, and Microsense treatments
- Crown pad made of Shalimar fabric with Sanitized anti-bacterial treatment, 2Dry moisture wicking, and Microsense treatments
- Includes removable nose guard and wind protector
- Face shield is scratch-resistant and anti-fog polycarbonate with 100% UV protection and is offered in 2 sizes dependent on helmet size (GT 2-1 for helmet sizes XS, SM and MS and GT 2 for sizes ML, LG, XL and 2XL)
- Face shield is pinlock-prepared

Well made helmet
Great ventilation. With all the vents open, you can feel your hair moving. Constant air movement for your face from the front vents.
Mounted my Sena 20sEvo, simple install, no cutting required, sounds better than ever thanks to the cloth pads that go over the speakers.
Visor feels very solid, notches are firm and hold when at speed. I ordered the dark smoke visor and it’s nice and dark, Don’t need to supplement with the drop down sunshade on bright days, only use the sunshade when stopped in city and want more air.
Only negative...the visor removal system/clips are terrible. I’m sure I’ll get better at it with practice but it’s clumsy and difficult to replace the visor.
It’s quiet but with all the vents open at speed, it’s can be a bit loud, but I wear earplugs then, so not an issue. I’ll take the great ventilation over a few dB any day.
Very stable at speed, better than my Nolan was. Head doesn’t pull or twist when you turn it. Aerodynamically great.
The material of the liner is soft and very comfortable.
My head measured 60cm, ordered the L and the XL, the XL fit perfect.
Very happy with the helmet.

I bought this helmet couple of months ago and I love it!
Super lightweight, comfy and the fit is just perfect. This comes with Pinlock in the box, the down visor could go a bit lower but it's ok. I'm about to install my cena system in the ear hole ready in the helmet.

Fit parfait pour mon grand nez ;-)
Très satisfait ! Je suis mis chemin entre L et XL. Le L est parfait. Souvent, les visières soleil touche mon nez (LS2, Bell). Pas dans ce cas.
Qualité des matériaux, silencieux. Meilleur que mon ancien BELL ;-)

Very comfortable!
This was my first helmet so I cant compare to much but it has a very nice liner. a pleasure to wear. Very stylish. I added the Gold Mirror Visor. Visors are a bit pricey but make it look fantastic. The shell would and will scratch very easy if you arent careful.

Was great for 2 years, then...
I loved this helmet for 2 years, fits my head great, comfortable, interior of high quality materials and pockets for the Sena 20S that's been on it since the beginning however...
After 2 years the visor wont stay shut now, I tried a new visor, new clips on each side still the same issue. It never sits "tight" against the rubber seal on the helmet creating alot of wind noise and it also comes up on its own slightly when I have cross winds while riding. I'm unsure if it's the visor, the clips, the hinges part or the rubber seal on the helmet but its just not sealing anymore.
My next helmet will have a better "visor system" to ensure a more positive lock in the down position.

Hi there, i am not sure which size would fit me well. My head measures somewhere around 58.3 - 58.5 ML is 58 but i am 58.4 approx Should i go with ML as it will break in after a while or i should choose L ?

With a dark visor can you buy a clear internal visor for the dropdown . For the few times you are out at night
No, AGV do not make a clear internal visor for this helmet.

The AGV K5 S Max Tornado Helmet has the standard basic visor.

Does it have speaker cut outs for communications ?
Yes there are pockets you could install speakers though I have not tried to yet. It looks similar to another helmet I have were I have installed my Cardo
