                  Description

Entirely built in Carbon Fiber (shell and chin), this specific structure achieves the same protection performance of MotoGP's Pista GP R in an incredibly light weight construction, combing the highest levels of comfort and safety. Designed to offer 190° horizontal view as the human eye capability, SportModular has been conceived in the wind tunnel for superior quietness, aero stability and ventilation.

                  Features:

                  • 100% carbon fiber shell
                  • 3 shell sizes (XS-S, M-L, XL-3XL)
                  • 5-density EPS in 4 sizes
                  • 100% carbon fiber chin bar engineered to guarantee maximum lightweight and balance even in the open configuration
                  • Shell shape designed to minimize the risk of impact energies being channeled to the collar bone
                  • Metal chin guard opening system designed to prevent accidental openings
                  • IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) with a large front vent, a chin guard vent and a rear extractor hollowed in the shell which direct air to the rider's head without interference with the internal sun shield
                  • Internal chin channels distribute the air flow evenly through the entire shield surface
                  • Adjustable integrated spoiler reduces turbulence and maximizes stability
                  • Pressure-free interior fit
                  • Removable nose guard and wind protector
                  • Reversible crown pad features a double face use that allows the rider to select the preferred feel and climate: warmer side with Shalimar fabric for a soft and gentle touch and a cooler side with Ritmo fabric
                  • Neck roll made from Shalimar and Nabuk fabric with water resistant treatment prevents water from being channeled inside the helmet
                  • Cheek pads made from Ritmo fabric with Sanitized (antibacterial protection), 2Dry (moisture wicking) and Microsense (premium skin comfort and wearing fluidity) treatments
                  • Eyeglasses friendly
                  • Face shield prepared for 100% Max Vision Pinlock (120) anti-fog technology designed for maximum vertical view (85°) and unmatched horizontal view (190°)
                  • Pinlock insert lens included
                  • GT3 face shield is anti-scratch and is in 2 sizes to optimize the correct fit between shield and shell in any size and to reduce air drafts and noise (GT3-1 for 2XS-L, GT3-2 for XL-3XL)
                  • Integrated anti-scratch inner sun shield is removable without using tools and uses 2 sizes (IV7-1 for 2XS-L, IV7-2 for XL-3XL)
                  • Visor Lock System (VLS) reduces the risk of accidental openings
                  • Metal face shield mechanism designed to minimize surface area, therefore supporting peripheral view and impact performance
                  • Rapid face shield release system requires no tools and allows it to be removed and replaced in seconds
                  • Titanium Double D retention system (43% lighter than standard steel DD)
                  • Internal sun shield in light smoke
                  • DOT/ECE

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I expected more After third attempt, found size that fits. I have a Medium Bell Bullitt and this AGV measurements say medium but I couldn't even get it on, I returned and tried large but still too small, so extra large fit but heavier and weight was 90% of the reason for purchase and it being a modular of course. It looks huge and I look like The Predator but it is light for a modular. I find it very warm, venting is not the best, I wish I could have the visor open a quarter inch and STAY open, but it wont. You Must make sure you put it on using the straps, else the neck roll comes out. Last but not least, it is very loud... like I mentioned, for a grand, I expected way more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic helmet Have been riding with this helmet for a month now and it's a joy. The warm liner keeps you toasty even when temps are near zero. The wide field of veiw means when your eyes are looking forward you can't even see the left or right edges of the visor in your periphery. It's stupid light and the vents all move alot of air. I'm not a huge fan of where the chin vent is placed and how it blasts air at my mouth but thats a minor complaint when you can have all the vents closed and the visor all the way down and still not get any fogging thanks to the top of the line pin lock even when it's about 0 degrees outside! Bell helmets don't generally fit me. I had a medium Joe rocket and this is also a medium.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lite Weight Very lite weight. I run hot , surprisingly, the many web reviews are actually accurate where the helmet does flow a lot of air. Most of my head is noticably cool. It is a bit louder than most lids - and its not the air, it seems its the carbon shell, it tends to amplify sound external to the helmet. It is also pretty tight, especially on the face/ jaw line.. hope it breaks in soon. Buckle does come a bit close to the neck, but not enough of an irratant to complain about. Overall great lid. I'd be much less happy if I paid a grand or anything close to that for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable helmet, poor for wind noise and audio I love the fit and feel of this helmet. It is so exceptionally balanced, even worn in open position, you can't tell the chin guard is up there. Best helmet I have found for internal sun visor coverage when dropped in to place - no big band of bright along the bottom! Two significant issues, however, wind noise is high (all of my old HJC modulars were quieter) and the sound from my Sena headset speakers is now hollow (same headset speakers I have used for several years in other makes/models of helmets that were much clearer). I have to turn my volume up really high now to hear, there is almost no base, and the wind noise drowns it out far more than it should. This is even more concerning given I ride a Goldwing with a windshield that protects me from most of the elements. I can't imagine how loud this would be on a big with no shield...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Helmet overall Looks nice and fits comfortably. Very light for a modular. I particularly like the sun visor but the way the regular one is being opened is a bit clumsy. The ventilation is Ok. I find it a bit noisy. Somewhat pricey if you don't get it on sale

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality helmet with some flaws I have ridden thousands of kms in this helmet. It is a quality helmet but with some major flaws especially for the premium price. The low weight is it strongest competitive advantage and I find it helps with neck fatigue over long riding days. Heavier helmets will bragg that their weight is well distributed, but at the end of the day it is still heavier! Other strengths include a wide range of vision and a sleek profile which seems to be less sensitive to wind buffeting than on other helmets. My major issues are: - The front of the helmet falls lower on my forehead than other helmets which squeezes my glasses on my nose. A none issue if you do not wear glasses but painful if you do! - The fabric irritates my forehead over time. Both the warmer and cooler side do the same thing. This issue might be related to the point above… - The ratcheting mechanism of the visor is of poor quality. You barely feel the clicks and you can’t leave the visor partway open, which is my favorite position. - I thought that all AGV helmets were made in Italy but this one is made in China. For the price I was disappointed by this. - The mechanism for opening the chin bar is hard to manipulate with gloves and it is not intuitive to use. - The finish, both inside and out, is not on par with other high end helmets like Shoei or Schuberth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loud, Cheap The neck roll will not stay in place at the rear, clips continue to pop out of place. Very loud, loudest I have used. This compares against X1004, C3 Pro, and Aria Defiant helmets. Flows good air, well ventilated. Very lightweight. Fit is small, I get jaw pain after 2 hours of use. Pretty disappointed in this lid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super achat J’ai acheté ce casque le mois dernier.

                  Questions

Is this helmet classed as an intermediate oval or long oval head shape

                  Asked by: Noel1
It is considered an intermediate oval head shape, meaning it should fit the majority of the US market.
