Rated 5 out of 5 by from All balls TY350 crank bearings and seals set. They seem to be genuine koyo bearings which I am 98% certain are what yamaha installed at the factory. Seals seem correct, they are double sided, ie they have a sealing lip and garter spring on both sides, unlike a conventional 'one sided' oil seal. Two strokes use 'loose' bearings C4 grade I believe. They seem more expensive than common C0 (C zero) bearings, which make the all balls price slightly expensive, one could shave $50 with carefull shopping around for the bearings and seals, a $50 surcharge for not having the hassle is ok by me. Seals and bearings are the correct size, I'll install them soon in a 86 TY350. In five years I'll know if they are decent quality...

        Questions

Is one of these bearing a sealed type? OEM honda bearing on the mag side (left) is a sealed bearing. I ordered a set from another source and both were non sealed bearings. My mechanic is telling me one needs to be a sealed bearing, like the OEM HONDA.

        Asked by: Mark
you dont really need it because there is already a seal in front of the bearing if it really bothers you just buy mag side bearing from oem the tech guy just wants it the way it is in the repair manual
