Fixed hot start issue
Had a 13 Dyna with hot starting issues. Thought it was the compensator, decided to try this first. Took about an hour or so to install, bike fires right up with no more grinding or hesitation. As usual, fast shipping and great customer service with Fortnine. And as mentioned before in the reviews, the ball bearing is already installed in the new unit. Grab a toothpick and poke through the yellow grease, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

All Balls All The Way
Thought my battery was getting week till starter clutch went. Replaced it with item and wow. My 95" stage 4 with 10.1 CR starts better than ever. It starts easier now than stock 88" did. My battery was never the issue. The clutch gears are substantially thicker on this product which helps product out perform stock one. The best thing is that this product is way cheaper to replace than buying a new starter. If you can figure out a ratchet you can replace yourself. Lol thinking of replacing this part on my other bike because it works that much better than stock.

good product,great price
Easy fit and install on my 2009 Road King. However they should state on box "clutch ball included"! I looked, didn't see it ,thought I had to use old ball. The new on was there but behind a bunch of grease.

Fixed my issue
My 2008 Electra Glide had an issue where the starter would skip and grind sometimes. This starter clutch did fix the issue, however I have a small complaint. The All Balls clutch comes with 2 replacement O-ring seals that were too large, so I had to re-use my old O-rings. Other advise I’d like to pass on for any DIY amateurs like myself, Harley powder coated the starter cases after assembly, so taking the starter apart chips the powder coating at the seems. Next time I’d cut the paint first with a sharp knife.

Looks good
Install this with no problem but like others have said steel ball is in the hole, I had to redo cause I didn't know. Haven't used it to start bike cause this is a winter project.

Questions
the video says it comes with the O-Rings and some teflon seal but your description doesn't say this. please confirm the part comes with this thanks.
Item #79-2104 comes with replacement O-rings, which is mentioned in the item details once you enter the year, make and model of your vehicle, and the product is a guaranteed fit

What’s the difference between this and the All Balls Starter Clutch Assembly? My starter is spinning freely in both directions and I know it needs replacing but now I’m unsure what part actually needs to be replaced or both? Thanks
The "All Balls Starter Clutch Assembly" is completely assembled including new pinion gear. There is no difference between the actual starter clutch element. If you are unsure on what needs replacing, we would recommend checking this with a mechanic
