Cool and comfortable.
If you ride in hot weather and want a bit of protection this is a great option. These are not robust, race track ready protection but they are better than the usual shorts or jeans. They include soft knee armor and pockets for hip armor. If the hip armor was included as well as the knee armor it would be five stars. Fit is as expected but a bit more stiffness in the lower boot area would be good to prevent them riding up. If you want to buy the hip armor it is Alpinestars Bioflex Hip Protector Size Large.

Great pants for hot riding
Super breathable. Great for weather >15C otherwise you’ll be cold. The pants have tons of mini holes to help with airflow. If you’re cold, wear an under layer. 5’10” 185lbs and I bought a large.
