Super light and breathable, wide size range! Great
I bought this jacket because I got too fat for my perforated leather A-Star jacket, so I wanted something cheaper as it would be temporary for my transition back to usual size but still want to be protected. This jacket is SO LIGHT it basically feels like a softshell for spring. But it is perfect for a +30C day in stop and go traffic. Definitely too breezy for anything below 10C.
The jacket DOES have chest pockets for armor and it does have a back protector pocket. This being a low-end jacket, the pockets are not as easy to find and take some patience and skill to navigate the armor into position. The chest pockets can only be found by inserting your hand up the 6 inch wide opening for the back protector, and feeling around for the two strips of velcro that secure the chest armor, then carefully feeding the plates into position and blindly feeling around to re-mate the velcro strips. Best done on a table or bed with the jacket open and spread. I put chest plates in first and then did the back plate. It is impossible to do in the opposite order. The velcro is thin and small (cheap) and easily sticks to surrounding mesh once open.
The mesh liner and velcro closures on this jacket is much more entry level/light duty/cheap compared to my flagship jacket from 10 years ago! That has very clear and obvious labels as to where and how to insert armor. For the price, I am STOKED it has pockets for back and chest armor, most other jackets at this price do not!
It did not come with chest and back armor, I reused mine from my other jacket. The elbow and shoulder armor are the latest CE lvl 1 armor and it baffled me how thin and light the pads were compared to older tech. Neat!
I am 6'7 & currently 350 lbs, and the sleeve length is perfect and the jacket fits stellar everywhere, even around my new belly in 5XL. So it is perfect for big people. I would say this product fits a little spacious but go with your usual Alpinestars size.
In the photos, the "Black" looks brownish, but in real life it is black nylon.

Extremely breathable good look Low profile armor
Very nice jacket for plus 15c and up lots of air flow.i have big arms and chest the xxx fits great
