Description
The Hoxton v2 Leather Jacket is a classically-styled heritage look jacket with a ‘used’ look finish and Bio-Lite armor on the shoulders and elbows. Other neat design touches include High Resistant Stretch Fiber panels on the arms for comfort and freedom of movement, pre-curved sleeves for reduced fatigue while riding, accordion leather waist inserts for an improved fit, and an extended lower back to protect the rider against the elements.

Cool retro style
I bought this jacket to replace a Joe Rocket one that the zipper has become tough to use. The jacket is great quality as you would expect from Alpinestars. I really like the removable liner as it simplifies the jacket a bit. Unlike Klim, you get all the armour except for a back protector. I purchased a Large for my size 52 jacket. It was a tight fit, but it fits.
My biggest complaint is the fit and cut of the jacket. I am a 52 or Medium in all of my riding gear. Although the 52 fits, it fits in an odd way. It is pretty snug around the chest and back, but loose around the belly. I almost wish I had gone up to a 54, but then the midsection would be way too loose. Could be just my body though on the fitment. I was hoping for a sort of retro cafe racer jacket with the same sort of relaxed cut. This is a similar, albeit not as aggressive, shaped jacket to the sport ones like Faster.
Overall though, the jacket is a very nice and comfortable jacket with great styling. Keep in mind though that there are no zippers to vent when it gets hot out.

Très bonne qualité!
J’ai fait l’achat du Alpinestar Hoxton V2 il y a peu de temps. Le manteau respire la qualité. Au début je sentais un inconfort au niveau des protecteurs de coude trop rigide, mais après 1600 Km, le tout ses assoupi et tout est parfait. La doubleur intérieure fais la différence par temps froid et se retire facilement. Poche intérieur de bon format, il est facile d’y insérer un cellulaire de grande taille.

Can you wear it as a casual jacket as well or can people tell that its a motorcycle jacket?
Yes, you could definitely wear it as a casual jacket off the motorcycle too. The only thing that may stand out as it being a motorcycle jacket is the shoulder armor, which you could potentially just remove if you don't like the look off the bike.
