Light and comfortable
I first tried "Alpinestars Nucleon KR-1i Protector Insert" but I found it too bulky especially that I bought it in size M. I returned it and bought this one in size S instead. This one looks right and fits just fine into my jacket.
I'm 1.66 m (or 5 ft 5") female. According to guidelines I should be buying M but M was not working for me. My bones didn't like it either (I don't have any excess fat). Maybe the sizing works better for men. In any case if you are female and you are not sure which size to go with, you may want to go with a smaller size.

Does its job
I bought a L size for my EUR 52 Alpinestar coat, it was a bit hard to fit in the pocket but it is very confortable once it is in.

Just in case
Got this to replace the foam my GP+ RV2 came with. Thankfully, I have not had to test it - nor do I want to - but for something that doesn’t even feel like it’s there, I am happy. The weight is negligible, and it was as comfortable the minute I put it on as it was after 8 hours of riding.

Feels good. Hopefully I'll never need to test it.
Fit well into my Alpinestars jacket. Seems a bit bulky, but does flex slowly as your body moves. Not sure how it performs in a crash, and hopefully I won't have to find out. Quite a gouge on price though, given it's just a piece of plastic.

Comfortable, appears well made.
Assuming it does it's job in a crash I can't fault it. This back protector is comfortable and unobtrusive. I forget it's in the jacket. A little expensive but better than a foam insert.

Hardly notice it's there
Purchased to replace the flimsy foam insert in my Alpinestars GP jacket. Fits perfectly in the pocket (I'm 191cm tall and ordered a L to go in a 52 jacket) and I hardly notice it's there. Haven't tested it yet, and hopefully won't.

CE level 2 Protection
I purchased this last season for my AGV Atom 42 jacket, the M fit perferctly as recommended. I can defintely feel a huge improvement from what came with the jacket, and with CE level 2, I actually feel protected. Only complaint would be it is a pricey option compared to the D30 protector. It does have the best ventilation and that's why I chose it over the D30, especially good for those hot summer days.

This back protector is CE Level 2 armor, whereas the KR-CELLi Back Protector is only CE Level 1. Level 2 armor allows less force to be transmitted compared to Level 1 armor
