Description
The Tech 10 has set the standard for Motocross boot performance and protection for well over a decade.
While maintaining the iconic Tech 10 look, the new boot represents an entirely new approach, improving its ability to give a rider the ultimate in feel, comfort and safety.
The Tech 10's comfort is legendary and a key feature in making the boot a pleasure to wear in all conditions. A key objective was maintaining the boot's feel while enhancing its performance, functionality and safety.
The most significant upgrades to the Tech 10 performance are unique technologies: the Frontal Flexion Control Frame, the Asymmetrical Dual-pivot Arms, the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protection Shock Absorber which is integrated into a redesigned foot shell and the slimmer, more streamlined, outsole.

Construction:
- Innovative, lightweight upper construction
- The Tech 10 chassis combines advanced lightweight microfiber and impact and abrasion-resistant TPU shell
- Foot shell features five different compounds in a single lightweight piece to offer strength while maintaining flexibility and structural integrity. Foot shell incorporates heel and toe protection that is highly resistant to abrasion and impact and adds to the boot's overall durability. Foot shell also includes integrated shank for support and structural integrity
- Frontal protection features a dual closure system with an internal microfiber flap, plus hook and loop fasteners for a precise fit closure beneath the buckle giving greater, micro-adjustable, precision which is convenient to operate. Soft microfiber gaiter helps seal out excessive water and dirt entry
- Poly-fabric lining with 3D open cell foam incorporates anti-slip suede in heel area, keeping the foot located inside the boot

- DCHP – unique heel protection innovation
- Built into the Tech 10's unique and lightweight single-piece co-injected foot chassis is the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP), an innovative safety feature that includes a fully integrated collapsible heel area with expanded poly-foam to absorb high impact energies during a crash. DCHP features a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the effect of excessive, potentially injury-causing, energy being transferred to the ankle and lower leg. DHCP has been used by Alpinestars athletes in the demanding environments of professional Supercross and Motocross

Great support and really comfortable
I bought these boots about a month and a half ago. I have bad ankles so I was looking for boots that had great ankle support and these boots have been awesome. I have over jumped and came up short in them and the ankle support was awesome. Furthermore, although they have a bit longer of a break in time, they where still supper comfortable during my first ride. The boots are a bit heavier then my old instincts, but I honestly hardly notice and the grip on the new sol is unbelievable. I’m a rider who likes supper sharp foot pegs and found that I almost had too much grip with these new boots. All around I would defiantly recommend these boots to anyone.

So far so good!
Great fitting boot. Loads of support. Usually stiff boots give me trouble when shifting, but I have no trouble with these. The buckles work great, are easy to close and lock well. A positive that I wasn't expecting is that the boots kept me dry in a very wet water crossing. CON: If you have a real job and don't get free gear for being and awesome rider - the price will make you feel like an idiot for buying them.

Good Build
Coming from the Gaerne SG12, these fit great, tighter on the roof of your foot, I l like that as it helps with shifter feel. Will see how they hold up long term but I'm optimistic based on the build quality.

Are the boots orange? except the soles I really like them and ride KTM hoping they are orange. They look orange in the pic.
