Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish they lasted longer I loved these boots! Comfortable right out of box and did not get all soft after a few month's use. Could go through water up to the 3rd buckle and feet stayed dry. Took a few hits and crashes and kept me safe. Then they broke after 1.5 season and cannot be repaired. I don't mind paying for quality but I expected to get more time out of these

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My last Tech 7’s were size 11 so I ordered 11 again. I found these 11’s to be too big. Sent them back and got a size 10 and they are perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boot not durable I love these boots but they have one flaw and it's a major one. They do not last and obviously are cheaply made. Too bad as they are awesome for riding single track and are waterproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable, Great Protection I've had these for a year and a half now, riding through 3 seasons. They have been very comfortable and kept my feet dry and warm through all conditions, including heavy downpours and wading through water, mud, etc. In extremely hot weather, 30+, they can be a bit warm, but we don't get much of that on the west coast. I'll take the warmth over a non-gore boot/wet feet, any day. I've had one bad spill with them where my foot got trapped between the bike and some rocks and I noted to myself how lucky I was to be wearing good protection. If I had been wearing a less protective boot I may not have been walking away, but I did, and other than some rips in my riding pants everything was okay. I'd purchase these again in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the wait I waited 2 years for these boots to become available again and so far they’re worth the wait. I haven’t stomped around in any streams with them yet but looking closely at their build quality, I have full confidence they’ll keep my feet dry in any situation. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box and are breaking in nicely. I usually wear a size 10.5 but I ordered the 10 and they fit perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like these boots, but not waterproof I very much like these boots. They arrived 2 days before a 2 week bike trip and were far more comfortable than I expected for a boot with this much protection. Although I bought the DryStar version, these boots are NOT waterproof. While scoping out a water crossing, with the water barely higher than my ankles, there was water ingress. The boots are also very noisy to walk in - no sneeking up on anyone in these boots! Despite these issues, I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top level protection at a reasonable price. Incredibly comfortable boots. A little stiff to walk in. I haven't had a crash in them yet and hope not to buuuut......I get the feeling that they would hold up very well. Got them on sale which was an added bonus. As usual Fort nine shipping was fast and painless.

                  Questions

How well do these fit under regular motorcycle pants? Not the baggy suit type of pants.

                  Asked by: Cosworth
They likely won’t. I wear them under Fjallraven Vidda Pro pants but they barely fit. Don’t expect them to fit under pants that aren’t baggy. That said, they are a wildly good boot. Worth buying pants that work with them to be safe and comfortable

Anyone out there use these in the real world and can attest to their waterproof status? Like standing in 6 inches of water. Riding in a downpour for 4 hours. Not the occasional splash of a puddle.

                  Asked by: cosworth
Bought these at the start of 2020 riding season.  Use them for adventure riding. Much beefier than the Adv boots available currently. Waterproofing works great for me, have ridden in 7 hours of down pour and feet were kept dry. Have stood in small rivers, streams, puddles as well and feet have been kept dry.

Do they make a good summer boot? Does the drystar material make these boots warmer than others? Are they comfortable at temps above 30deg celsius?
