AltRider Crash Bar System - T722-0-1002

Now that you're the proud owner of a Yamaha Tenere 700 or maybe have one on order you will want crash bars to protect it. The AltRider crash bars for the Tenere 700 are constructed from 1" (25.4 mm) diameter high quality stainless steel so they're extremely resistant to rust utilizing CNC formed tube bends laser cut flanges and hand TIG welds for maximum strength and durability.

Protect the engine of your Tenere 700 with the AltRider Lower Crash Bars. The bars are constructed of 1" (25.4 mm) diameter stainless steel tubing and mount to four points on the frame for strength and stability providing substantial protection to the bike's engine and soft metal case covers.

The 1" (25.4 mm) AltRider Upper Crash Bars add another dimension of protection providing coverage to the bike's radiator and plastics. The custom stainless steel cast clamps are welded to the upper crash bar and secure the bars to four different mounting points on the lower bars to tie they system together and help distribute the load of an impact.

The AltRider Upper Crash Bars mount to the AltRider Lower Crash bars using custom stainless steel cast clamps welded to the Upper Crash Bars to provide a solid foundation. This mounting system also increases the strength of the lower bars by further tying the left and right sides together. This ensures impacts are absorbed by the entire crash bar system and spread across multiple mounting points.

A solid core tube is used on the inner diameter to connect both sides of the crash bars together creating an incredibly robust connection that eliminates movement or shifting. Additionally the exterior of the bars are connected with a solid billet piece that maintains rigidity and adds a refined look.
