The new ATX12-RS is an extremely lightweight and high-power Lithium-Ion replacement battery for the heavy lead/acid YTX12 battery found in many Motorcycles and Powersport Vehicles. The ATX12-RS offers the first FULL Battery Management System (BMS) found on a Powersport Battery and includes low-voltage cut-off, over discharge, over-charge, and thermal protections with real time lithium-ion cell balancing. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good with cold starts I bought this battery exclusively for its CCA rating. I replaced a perfectly good AGM battery on my Honda TRX 420 because it wouldn’t start on very cold mornings. Since this LiFePO had really good reviews and lots of cold cranking amps, I thought it would solve my issues of starting on cold days. It didn’t. And the issue is not with the starter or the coils on the wheeler. I’m disappointed since this battery was quite expensive. On the positive side, it’s very light and easy to install. I also like the four battery terminals for versatility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So light I thought the case was empty The battery location is up high on my 2012 F800GS, where the gas tank usually is. Thought I would try the Lithium battery when my old lead one died. This thing is super light. Thought it was an empty case! Makes the bike easier to rotate in the twisties!

I'm riding a vtx 1300 c. In the description states 1200 and under. Would this work for a 1300?

It is not recommended to use this battery on a vehicle that uses larger ccs than what's indicated,
