The new ATZ-7 RE-START Battery is an extremely lightweight and high-power Lithium-Ion replacement for the heavy lead/acid battery found in many motorcycles including most every Enduro bike on the market. Additionally, the new ATZ-7 offers the first FULL Battery Management System (BMS) found on a Powersport Battery and includes low-voltage cut-off, over discharge, over-charge, and thermal protections with real time lithium-ion cell balancing.

( Over-Charge protection will not protect from a faulty/old Voltage Regulator spiking Hi-Voltages to Battery. If you have a Pre-1990s Motorcycle replace your voltage regulator; it is over 25 year old and most likely broken by now.)

( If you own an older classic bike from mid 1980s and earlier you must update the charging system to a modern solid-state voltage regulator. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great design, not best choice for my bike Although listed as a “perfect fit” this battery will have insufficient CCA’s for a 2012/2013 TE300 or KTM 300 XC-W for much more than the occasional restart once warm. Go with a battery that has 200 or more CCA’s. Antigravity makes very good batteries and the new restart feature makes for a longer service life, but for the KTM 300’s of this year they should be spec’ing a more powerful battery to avoid customer disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super small and lightweight I bought this battery over a month ago and its great, very small and lightweight compared to the stock one. Always nice to save weight when you can. It's also really nice having the piece of mind knowing if the battery does die I can just press Re-start button and get back on my way. If u need a battery I'd highly recommend this one. My only gripe is due to the small size u have to put some kind of foam around the battery to keep it from moving around, I wish they would include some foam padding for this.
