Replacement face shield for the Arai Corsair-V, Defiant, Defiant Pro-Cruise, RX-Q, Signet-Q, Signet-Q Pro-Cruise and Vector-2 Helmets. Arai's SAI face shield is the latest generation of Super AdSis shield system, designed for the 10mm wider eye port.

Awesome, but beware the Gold
Excellent shield. Snaps in very quickly (once you understand how it connects.) easy to remove.
I have both the silver and gold shield. Here is something for you to know. The gold doesn't even look remotely close to how it looks in the picture.

Wish it had pinlock
Not bad, just be aware that this visor fogs up very easily, even in warmer weather. It doesn't come treated with an antifog coating like some other helmet brands. I like the look of a fully tinted visor, but would consider the pinlock version with the tinted insert next time.

Just what I wanted
Bought this a month ago. Takes away the need for sunglasses which is great. Dark at night if you don’t have the street lights helping but still good for glare. Looks good too.

Tints and mirrors nicely
Bought this near the end of the riding season and wish I had purchased it sooner. It helps tremendously with the sun and the mirror effect is quite nice.
It feels like this visor fogs up much more quickly than the original clear visor that came with my Arai. This isnt too much of an issue other than the last few weeks of the riding season.

Will this fit a 2008 Profile helmet?
Unfortunately, this does not fit the Profile helmet, which requires an Arai SAQ shield.

Do the colored shields offer a protection from UVA and UVB rays?
Arai say their clear, tinted and colored shields all offer UV protection. However, they also recommend utilizing appropriate sunscreen and additional eye protection for any UV sensitivities.

What is the ETA on Fortnine restocking the dark tint version of this visor ? I have been waiting at least 4 months and am starting to wonder if they ever will.
Do they need pinlock screen to prevent fogging up or are they anti fog? The reason I am asking is because the pinlock screens make me dizzy
Pinlock is just to secure the screen completely to the front of the helmet, it won't help with fogging.. You need a rubber insert to seal against your nose and mouth to prevent fogging, I still need to get one of those myself..
