VAS SYSTEM
The Variable Axis System shield mechanism was developed to enhance the shape of the shell, but the easy to learn changing mechanism is what most people are raving about. Quick, easy and intuitive.
PB-SCLC
The new Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction shell design combines multiple materials and techniques created internally by Arai that deliver both performance and affordability.
DUCT VENTILATION
In keeping with the improve on what works" mentality at Arai, the new QVF & QVR upper ventilation ducts look familiar but offer more adjustment and better flow through performance.
CHINCOVER
The new water repellent ES Chincover comes installed on the Signet-X. Enhancing the Egg Shape of the helmet, the cover smooths airflow, increases exhaust from the mouth area and reduces wind noise coming up from below. Good for both cold and warm weather riding and is easy to remove and reinstall as needed.
ANTI-MICROBIAL
The Anti-Microbial liner material on the Signet-X resists the build up of bacteria and as a result allows your helmet to stay fresher, longer, between cleanings.
VAS-MV PINLOCK ANTI-FOG LENS
The Signet-X comes with the VAS-MV (Max Vision) shield that accepts the new VAS-MV Pinlock lens. The new Pinlock-120 lens comes with the helmet in the box and ready to install.

Love it!The Fit is amazing. Large field of view. Lightweight. The Feel of the paddings against my face is great. Has a nice classic race look to it. Vents well, especially through the visor vents. Pretty quite, side pods do whistle when visor is open. Only two negatives I can think of, perhaps in the future make it so the visor can be opened in the middle and second is the price $700 would be a fair price not $1000+

Perfect fitBought it just over a month ago. I was getting back in motorcycling and was headed to a racing school to get my reflexes back. After a full day on the track, no pressure point anywhere. Very low wind noise. Great ventilation. All in all, a perfect fit. I have a narrow head, and despite all the different helmets I tried to find a fit, there is only one that really caters to that head shape, and it's the Arai Signet.

Arai Signet X HelmetHave been a devoted Arai helmet wearer for twenty years. Typically a Large round oval but went with the Medium long oval this time and I really like the fit.
My wife and I have Autocom sound systems which I have flipped from old helmet to new three times each. The Arai helmet build, pad placement and removability makes them ideal for this as well.
Love the helmet, but not surprised.

The usual Arai excellence.I've been wearing Arai long oval helmets for over a decade and they are the only helmet for me. The change of features on this round take a little bit of adaptation, new vent and shield lock mechanisms and tighter cowl at the neck in particular, but are an upgrade and worth the effort. The pictures make the helmet look the usual gloss finish but it is actually matte which I find more attractive in this graphic. The removable liner sections to allow for earpieces are definitely and improvement over my last helmet.
