When you've got a Speedmaster up front, the Safety Mileage MK II is what you need on the back. In it's broadest fitting, the 5.00S-16, it has a different tread pattern to the other sizes, but all share performance characteristics in tune with older bikes while enjoying the advances made in rubber technology.

vintage bike tires
These tires wear well and look the part on old bikes. Maybe they are not as sporting as modern tread patterns and tire profiles, but riding an old bike is not really about hanging off, dragging knees. The perfect match for the good old Avon "Skidmaster".

Can I run the sixteen inch on the front as well?

This tire is made specifically for a rear application. It is not safe to use a rear tire as a front application.

Hi, will the 5.00-16 69S TT fit a 3" wide, 16" rear wheel?
Yes, the 5.00 x 16 tire will fit the old style typical 'Harley" 3" wide 16" rim. The typical size tire used on a 16" rear is the 5.10, or MT90. This one is a bit narrower which will help with drive chain clearance.
