they dry rot split very very fast 5500km on this one.....be really carefull ....the customer service wont do nothing about it too....they dont care

Stay away from these tires. The sidewalls crack
These provide sufficient traction and handle well. My complaint is that the sidewalls crack prematurely. I have had them replaced 3 times now under warranty and the current set has now cracked. For that reason I would not recommend these tires. Go with a tire that doesn't crack in less than one a riding season

What were they thinking?
I have been a fan of Avon’s Roadriders (and the AM22/23 track day tires) for many years as they’ve represented a great balance between longevity, traction and price for classic motorcycles. This latest set is no exception, providing much better confidence than the Shinkos they replaced. Sadly, the Roadrider series has been dropped by Cooper/Avon with no suitable replacement offered.
Who was the bean counter clown at Avon who thought it was a good idea to discontinue one of the best classic tires available?

These MK ll Roadriders are great. No splitting
Abon had addressed the problem with splitting on the Roadrider A26 tires by introducing the MK ll. The MK ll Roadriders are excellent tires that hold the road well, don't follow grooves in the road and provide fine tire life.

Can you get Avon Road rider tires with tube I ordered a set a tires didn’t realize they were tubeless
You can (almost) always use a tube with a tubeless-type tire, just not the other way around. A tubeless tire will just be stiffer to install, and heavier. This particular tire doesn't come in tube-type.
