This two-point approach forms a cage around your hands and also protects your handlebar controls to prevent or minimize damage in a crash scenario. Bike-specific hardware is designed to clear throttle cables, hydraulic lines and other interferences found within individual bike models.

Solid, reliable product - at a price
Using these on an Africa Twin. I have dropped the bike many times in numerous types of terrain and these have done the job. They do cost quite a bit but the product does what it was intended to do - protect the levers and your hands. Scuffs and scratches on the metal, but no dents or bending.
Your bars usually take the majority of the impact on a fall so I would recommend these to anyone that goes off road.

2015 Honda NC750 fits but ...
Installed a few weeks ago. Installation was relatively easy just take time working out best angles to avoid wiring, brake and clutch cables etc. But...the guards did not fit with my after market puig windshield...so the puig windscreen need to be cutdown to correct width. It now works great! They are of good quality. Solid.

Fits 2022 Honda CB500X
After reading all over the web and Barkbusters website I ordered this set—part number BHG-081-00-NP/ ITEM #670599. They fit just fine and I didn't need to use the additional spacer. I would recommend going to the Barkbusters website and looking for the bike specific installation guide to make quick sense of hardware. Fantastic service from FortNine with or without Ryan F9. Best fitting Handguard mount Ive ever used. No hassles with weird twists and angles. Fit like an OEM on my F800GS with no interference with the cables or controls.

Must have handgaurds!
They are a little silly to install. The instructions aren't good at all, and they fit very tight to other components. However, once you finally figure out how to get them on there they are amazing. I crashed my bike and I'm sure they saved my hands and levers from being crushed. If you have a Tenere 700 they are must have.

No, this item is only compatible with Barkbusters JET, VPS, STORM or CARBON guards (sold separately).
