Excellent upgrade over the factory springs.
One of the best cheap mods I've done. No more slipping under heavy acceleration. The stock springs are a bit weak even when brand new. Easy to install, make sure that you have a new clutch cover gasket on hand, and if you put your front wheel up on a 2x4 block to tilt the bike you won't even lose any oil.

Too stiff!
Springs are way too hard. They advertize that they're 15% stronger but they make it virtually impossible to compress the clutch lever.

Great Improvement Over Stock
Bought these clutch springs after wearing the clutch on my 2020 crf250l although the store doesn't specify that the part is compatible, it is! Careful research over reddit and thumpertalk lead me to this purchase. Clutch pull is barely noticeable and with no extra strain on the left hand! 10/10 would purchase again and recommend for all crf250l owners

Too strong
Don't buy this unless you have Hulk hands. No normal human can pull this clutch.

Barnett Clutch Spring Kit - 501-66-04010
I'm a retired Engineer so I did some testing. The Barnett springs when compressing the clutch pack exert about 77 lbs. per spring. K=140 lb./in, L=1.47". The Vesrah SK-102 exert about 111 lbs. per spring, K=314 lbs./in. L=1.36". Stock springs about 52 lbs. per spring, K=189 lbs/inch., L=1.28". My clutch pack compresses springs down to about 1". Stock springs don't exert enough load because the original length is shorter, Vesrah exert too much load. The Barnett's are perfect if you have about 100 lb. grip force in your left hand. The Vesrah's are undrivable in the city. The force to disengage the clutch is related to about a 1/2" of clutch pack separation x spring constant. 4 springs and lever ratio bout 4 to 1 so you can calculate everything related to 1 spring. My two cents.

Too strong for 2002 sporster 883 Hugger
This plate was too strong for my 2002 sporster 883 hugger. Clutch would not engage. Had to put the original one back on.

Questions
how many springs come in the barnet clutch spring kit exactly?
You must order by fitment for your bike. For example I ordered for my Vstar 650 and its 5 springs. It came with 5 springs. Depends on your bike/fitment.

The spring fit's on my fz09 but they are at 2.25" and originally it's 2". should I use them anyway or I will break my pushing plate?
Can anyone tell me if this is a 15% or 20 % stronger then stock spring?
I can’t say exactly the percentage stronger they are but they stopped my clutch slip.
And there was very little difference in clutch pull.
