Improved Drivability
Made a big improvement to the bike's driveability. You can stay in each gear longer and engine vibration at highway speeds is reduced. Installation is not much harder than changing a rear tire. Looks good too.

Huge improvement
I installed this pulley at the same time as the Barons front pulley. Instal was simple and took about an hour for both pulleys. I ordered the rear pulley in black and it came finished with chrome hex bolts on the outward face, a nice feature that looks great. Pro's, lengthens each gear and reduces shifting, also highway driving is much more pleasant as the engine no longer has to rev as high. Con's, first gear is now a bit high for some situations and I find myself feathering the clutch much more often. Having said that, I would not go back to the stock pulleys as the Barons upgrade seriously improved my bike.

So freakin noisy!
I bought this Barons pulley as well as the front last year and it really lowers the rpm on the highway. Unfortunately the rear pulley is wearing quite fast. I contacted Barons and they tell me it's normal. The noise is un-freakin believable. Group I ride with tell me the sqalling/squealing is so loud it gives them a headache. The vibration/noise is very noticeable mostly on acceleration and uphill. Tried washing the belt and pulley, putting soap on it, graphite spray, silicone and nothing gets rid of the noise. It's the worst $500 I've ever spent on my bike. It's coming off and the factory pulley is going back on.

Works great
Installed along with barons front pulley on my Vulcan classic lt. Very happy with the results. Less shifting in town and purrs at 110 kph on the highway. Black looks great as well.

Excellent
When I had this item along with the power pulley installed my Vulcan 900 went from registering 45 Kim’s when I was showing 50 on my Speedo to 53 when showing 50. Also now that my Speedo has changed I only get around 270 Km per tank of fuel where before the install I would get around 360 which was false but you should know going in
I find that the bike runs a lot better although my shift pattern has changed. I’m not looking for another gear all the time I’m in fifth
