Heavy duty guard
The good, this highway bar is heavy duty and seems well made. Installation is tricky as the fit is exact and it mounts directly to the engine/frame mounts. It must be lined up perfectly before you attempt to instal the bolts and that takes patience.
The bad, I have had this guard installed about a month and despite keeping my bike covered and out of the rain the welds are showing some very slight rust through the chrome. It is not bad enough to warrant a return but all the same I am surprised. I bought this for protection first and beauty second and it serves the first purpose well due to the heavy duty construction.

Great look and simple to install
I bought this for my 2008 VSTAR 650 and it was so simple to install. Took half an hour or so. Looks great.

High end product.
These things are real. Beefy, handsome and easy install (you need 2 pairs of hands) but be prepared to pry the edges to stuff the spacers in so wrap up a flat bar and be patient and careful. They look so good.

Well made and Easy to Install
Well made Engine Guards. These seem to be an upgrade from the previous version for this XV 250 bike. It now attaches better and seems more robust. Was quite easy to install.

Baron Engine Guard
Ordered this engine guard for my 2005 Honda VTX1300R motorcycle, and can say I am very happy with the quality of this product. Nicely chromed. Fits perfectly to the specific model of motorcycle. No problem with attachment re: the OEM floor boards that came original with the bike. Fairly easy to install with just 4 bolts provided. I would recommend having two people for install otherwise is abit harder to get bolt holes all lined up. I highly recommend this product, looks and fits great. .

Nice looking bar on the Suzuki C50. Came packaged really well. Had to use a spreader clamp on the bottom attachment area as it is a real tight fit.

Good quality
I purchased these for my Suzuki C50 K9.
I had some assistance with the install since one side did not line up with the bolts. Another person sat on my bike and pressed the brakes while I pushed the bar to meet the connecting hole. I also used a sand-weighted 3lb mallet to pound the bars closer to where they should meet the bike.
The hardware is quality; some other engine guards come with bolts that will rust, but not Baron's. Pleased with the extra bottom clearance. These bars won't hinder deep-leaning turns.
