Leaked a bit first time
I did have to do the install twice as a couple of lines leaked the first time so I took all of the fittings off and used a little teflon tape on them and that fixed things right up. I do like the convenience of not having to remove the front exhaust to change my oil as I do like to change my oil frequently. The instructions are a little thin and checking out some videos on the installation wouldn't hurt.

Very nice quality
I haven’t had a chance to install my new oil filter relocation kit. I bought it when the snow was flying and the temperatures were well below freezing. But I’ve watched several videos and just looking at the product you can clearly see it’s of high quality and I’m looking forward to installing it for easier oil changes obviously.

Nice looking great product
Love the product No more dropping the pipes to change oil. Had to remove all fittings and add sealing tape to them and was a little disappointed they did not include new O rings in kit

what kind of filter does this use ? what filter do I need to order when changing oil?

Will this fit my 2007 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Silverado? It says it does not here but three people wrote reviews with Yamaha 1100's but not my year or edition.
This is a good fit for your vehicle, however we do not currenlty have it listed on the website under the vehicle specific option. You can purcahse it under item #201294

i have the relocation kit on my yamaha 1100 classic 2007 and cannot figure out how to get the filter off .when i went to purchase new filter they sold me a k&n filter will that fit?
I bought one last year and had the same problem with the filter that came with it. I ended up driving a screwdriver right through it and used that to get it loose. A little messy but it worked. Either the K&N KN-303 (black) or K&N KN-303C (chrome) will fit it. The nice thing about the K&N filters is they have a nut end you can get a wrench on to remove the filter. Hope this helps!
