Works as it should
Install was straightforward and easy but the drill bit was missing out of my kit. It should have come with a bigger pilot jet in my opinion that way the pms screw wouldn't have to be backed out as much as it had to be at 3 1/2 turns out.

Questions
I have the Baron air kit on my 2005 Yamaha Roadstar Midnight Silverado 1700 and I also have Cobra Longshots on it as well. Will this jet kit cure my carburetor backfiring when I twist the throttle at idle? I bought the bike like this and it bugs me.
my bike is a 1600cc so i am just going from my research, but i believe you need a 40 mikuni pilot jet on the 1700, not in this kit. i used 37.5 for my bike with v&h longshots. This kit does give better throttle response due to the different taper on the needle. I would advise asking the same question on the roadstarclinic forum. very nice knowledgeable guys.
