Great product
I've had the new spring on my Yamaha 1100 Vstar for about a month now. No bottoming out when my wife and I ride 2up and the bike handles so much better. Highly recommend it.

This was on of the best up grades i have done to the road star was a simple job to take out shock.just had a shop press off old one and put the new one on for like 40 bucks..my bikes lowered so this was a huge difference stock spring was to soft would bottom out once in awhile im not a big guy either 165lb.bikes lowered like 2" i have had no issues since upgrading to this spring.jod took me about 2hr would of been less if i didn't have to run it down to shop to press it on. .if u are doing a road star reminder grease all the needle barings well u have it a part..

I bought this a month ago and was very satisfied it did what I wanted. Being an older person gaining weight. help increase the capacity weight on my Vstar 1100.

Great improvement
I bought this for my 2000 V Star. It rarely bottoms out when we ride 2 up now.
I took it to my local dealer to have it installed on the shock. They charged me $35. which is great value.

Amazing!
Made my bike feel like a better, newer bike. Highly recommend if you have an older Road Star. Simply th best upgrade you can do for comfort and control.

Worked as hoped.
Purchased for an 2002 XVS1100. I’m ~230lbs and the factory spring was borderline adequate for me solo and bottomed out riding two up. This spring has made a notable improvement solo. I have not tried two up yet but expect good results. I changed it myself with spring compressors but would caution anyone doing so as there is a lot of force stored up in the compressed spring. I changed tires, rebuilt the front end and replaced the rear spring all at the same time. While I can’t attribute all of the handling improvements I am feeling to just the spring, it does compliment the work done well and I am enjoying the new ride quality.
