You can add on a set of Bassani Xhaust slip-on mufflers, and those mufflers will also fit stock head pipes according to Bassani

how much decibel it is close the original ? thanks
I installed the bassani header pipes and fishtail mufflers on my 2003 Road Star. The sound is louder than stock but not nearly as loud as the aftermarket exhaust system that was on the bike when I purchased it. It has a nice rumble and I get compliments on both the sound and look of the system. The fit and quality is excellent.
I would purchase another complete system or just the mufflers if i get another bike. I have 3 other large displacement motorcycles with stock exhaust systems on them but enjoy riding my Road Star the most because of the great sound and look.
