tinted shield, works great in sunlight , if you where glasses, as I do , the flip up shield is a real plus.

Good service and price!
The service was prompt and I received the product pretty quickly and the price was great! It's compatible with the bell custom 500 helmet I had previously bought. The only negative comment I must mention is that there is a distortion in the plastic that slighly affects visibility near eye-level so I have to position the helmet a certain way to improve visibilty. I'm not sure if it's a defect in this particular shield or if it's just the way it's made.

Good Protection, Poor View
Snaps don't really allow for quick change, one of my snaps broke off my helmet removing the old visor. You need to use a small screwdriver to get them off. The peak is too large and has a significant lip which blocks a lot of the view. Wanted it for rainy weather but doubt if I will ever use it.

Functional, no frills, great bugscreen
I ride in northern B.C. and it helps a lot to keep the bugs from hitting me in the face. REALLY... also like the clearance for wearing glasses. Smoked is great in the summer to cut down on glare, but its too dark to wear after dark, recommend getting a clear to switch out with. (Note: Snaps are firm when done, and are not that easy to remove...)

Bought this under recommendation to use with a Biltwell Gringo as I really needed a flip visor being a wearer of eyeglasses and the Biltwell Gringo S version (with flip visor) wasn't released into market yet. It does as it performs though I haven't even used it and don't intend to. The visor portion protrudes out much too much which gives a lack of appeal nor slimline contour. Lit does however cover the helmet opening all the way, clips tightly and slides smoothly. Could have been designed much more slim-line unless it's purpose was to utilize the visor, but don't really see how the visor would be used to block out sunlight if the ting itself is very dark...

Happy to find these visors
We sand rail in Southern California and it is very hard to find these visors, especially tinted. These visors are very comfortable in an open helmet even when it gets quite warm.

Questions
Does anyone know if this fits the Shoei RJ Platinum-R Helmet
No I don't know if it fits a Shoei. But I have a large and an xlarge Bell 500 never been used with visors and beak for sale cheap. They fit good but sit too far down on my head and push my glasses into my nose. They are for sale.

the two side snap are adjustable, so I think they'd fit most 3-snap helmets
