When Bell set out to design the XR Spherical, they were after one helmet to do a bit of everything, from racing cyclocross to touring the world to just KOM'ing your buddies on the weekly lunch ride. With Falcon XRV, they've taken many of the same features — "Deep Road" fit, ample venting, Fidlock® buckle, IONIC+™ antimicrobial comfort padding — and built them into a helmet that is both utilitarian and economic.
This versatile helmet boasts the same "All-Rounder" ethos and slim profile of XR Spherical and features MIPS® Evolve for impact protection in certain crashes. We've added a visor for sun protection, and to top it off, the Falcon XRV MIPS is compatible with Bell's custom Blackburn® Grid COB rear LED light that integrates seamlessly into the large rear vent. What more could you ask for?
MIPS® EVOLVE
MIPS Evolve is designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. By integrating the MIPS slip plane into the retention system, we are able to reduce complexity and weight for a compact, better ventilated helmet that fits more closely to the head.
