The Panovision viewport in the 2016 Star offers riders additional vertical and lateral visibility over the previous Star and more traditional viewports. This allows the rider to see better in a tight or tucked position and make safer lane changes and head-checks.

Nice visor, could be darker.
I bought this one, and the gold iridium, because my auto-tint visor doesn't go dark enough for me in full sun. It's not as dark as I had expected, it feels like the auto-tint when tinted. So I then tried the gold iridium, it's darker. So I use the gold iridium in full sun, and the auto-tint in mixed weather. Might use this one when my auto tint fails, or on cloudy days. Always useful to have a visor to swap anyway when hitting a lot of bugs.

Some glare on iridium
Shield looks nice and clips on and fits like it should.
I chose an iridium so I could skip the sunglasses. Facing the sun i see some reflection of my face in the visor. I have used it a month and have got more used to it. I look through the reflection as best I can, but it is distracting. It does protect my eyes from the sun even when facing the sun. When I am travelling away from the sun the shield is perfect. Same with cloudy days that are bright but have no direct sunlight, the shield is perfect in that condition, no strain on the eyes. Of course when sun goes down the iridium shield must be switched out for a clear one.
