Cheap Design, But Works
The design of this oil filter differs from the more expensive brand name ones in that the mesh is not corrugated. Therefore, if any metal shavings are floating around, they'll hit the mesh screen and not pass through, but then again aren't getting caught and captured. Whether or not it makes a difference is up to you. They work just fine though.

As good as OEM
I've always bought OEM parts for my bike and was a little reluctant to try this one. I read the write-up on this one and decided to give it a try based on the "Guaranteed Fit" statement by FortNine. I've been using this filter for about 450 kms now and it performs great. No leaks, no loss in pressure. I'm very satisfied with it. Also the cost is less than half the original.

O-ring wrong size
Fit the quad perfectly, EXCEPT, the large O-ring to seal the cap was too large in diameter and far to thick. Obviously had to use my old one. Also, since I ordered 2 filters (thinking ahead) I need to reuse the existing O-ring a 2nd time for my next oil change too.

Compatibilité (presque) garantie
Le même problème que pour d'autres pièces achetées sur ce site. Oui le filtre correspond à ma moto. Mais mes clés pour visser le filtre ne s'adaptent pas sur le filtre donc j'ai dû acheter une nouvelle clé à filtre. De plus il n'y a pas de O ring fourni ce qui m'oblige à faire cette achat dans un autre commerce ce qui entraîne une perte de temps.
