Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brake pad literally fell apart! This review is posted in 2022 and they were ordered in 2018. It took a few months for me to go around to install but it's been about 3-4 years since install. I've done maybe 15 000 km considering the pandemic and that I have other bikes I use. Essentially, I was riding recently and used my rear brake to stop and I heard a metallic noise and I lost all pressure to the rear brake. I pumped the pedal instinctively and heard some more grinding. I stopped using the front brake and checked what was happening. It seems like the braking material undid itself from the pad and literally detached itself and went flying. The second one has signs of the same issue where it's delaminating itself from the brake pad. I'm attaching pictures to show what I mean. The pad still has plenty of life left but even the one left has signs of coming apart. Now I realize it's been some time since order but I've never had a brake pad "break" on me. It definitely seems faulty to me. Now since they only seem to carry a 1 year warranty, Fortnine can't do anything but I do expect brake pads to last longer than a year. The bike is mostly used in the city so it doesn't even see any offroading since it's a dual sport bike. I can't say I'd recommend this to anyone and I feel lucky this did not happen on the front brake. I do expect brake pads to last longer than a year or not trying to kill me and gouge my brake disc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as expected Bought these as the first replacement of OEM pads. After reviewing several articles. I decided to go with these organic pads over the sintered pads on my Kawi Versys. The pads work well and there's no squealing. They fit perfectly on the bike with installation under 20 minutes. Would recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked fine. Changed out front and rear pads before my CDR and BDR trip. Just finished 8500 kms with lots of heavy front brake use. Decent grip and wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pads! After I bedded them stoping a few times from pretty quick to full stop they were really nice and linear with the brake lever pull.

do the back brakes look like the picture?

          Asked by: jerry
They make so many pads and shoes for so many makes and models that I think they just use a generic picture. Fortnine would need hundreds of photos to have the exact photo of yours and mine and all the others. I've ordered bike master pads and shoes for different bikes, both were perfect.
