Don't waste your money
I just got these and wish that I had ordered a kick in the junk instead. Chrome cracked on the first time I tightened them on, they do NOT stay put when you put your foot up on them. Also, if you don't want them to rattle around, you have to keep them tight in the open position, folding them up isn't an option unless you want them loose and floppy.

They won't stay where I put them - currently mounted on a set of SW-MOTECH engine guards. I haven't given up, though. They weren't expensive compared to the alternatives and I may be able to correct the problem.

Great affordable alternative to others
First off... I know this might sound obvious
TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS BEFORE RIDING
I have a 1.25" highway bar, the clamps held on great (no twisting of clamp) unfortunately I didn't think to check the peg bolts, as from the factory I didn't remove them so thought nothing of leaving them as is.... wrong they fell off (the pegs only) after about 5 kms from my house... clamps are still sturdy and awaiting new pegs lol
I'll update this review once I get a chance to actually use them :)
Still over $100 cheaper than any of the popular brands
Just remember to tighten ALL BOLTS before riding

Nice chrome and easy to install in about 15 mins.
Easy to install and fits great on highway bars. Great for long rides and when you need to stretch your legs.

Sturdy, we'll made but...
They look great and are solid. The nuts and bolts however are starting to rust and the rubber rings move all over the place. Great addition to the bike though!

As expected
I knew I would have trouble fitting pegs on my skinny alt rider bars and I was right. These pegs seem sturdy and are good value but if you are attaching them to bars under 1" you may have to add something to the bars so they hold and don't move.

whats the total length of the pegs folded down.
From the center-line of the hinge to the end of the peg is 4 1/2". From the center-line of the hinge to the center-line of the bar on which the peg is mounted is 2". Total = 6 1/2".
