Easy to install, no flafla and good wire lenght.
The title says it all. If you want a USB charger on your bike with the possibility to swap it for other gadgets than buy this. Good lenght, no flafla does what it needs to do.

Check your specs!
First things first; the order was recieved promptly as usual (Thanks Fortnine)
I purchased this and set it up promptly so I could charge my phone on the fly. Install was simple enough, though some simple mounting hardware would improve the value for money. I recieved a rather extreme discharge when I plugged my phone in. The base charge for the Huawei Nova Plus is 2.0A and the advertised specs for this charging set is 2.1A (Max 3.0A) with a 7.5A fuse.
When plugged in I could literally watch the battery % go up multiple points per second, indicating to me that I was recieving a rather extreme output. I tested this with various other phones and recieved similar results.
It seems that it is capable of charging most phones, but it will damage your battery in the long term if your device isn't rated for it. Make sure to check the specs of your device before purchasing.
Pros-
Easy to install
Lots of cord length
Fairly inexpensive
Cons-
Lack of mounting hardware
High base output
In summary:
If you're looking to charge a larger device, (tablet, some GPS's, etc) this is a great option, but for most phones this is going to provide too much juice for you. Again, check your device specs before purchasing.

Doesn’t work
I recently purchased this charger and wired it into the left hard pocket of my top box on my 07 GL1800. The installation was easy and worked out perfectly so that my wife could plug in her iPhone while we are on long road trips.
Well unfortunately for me the USB charger is faulty and we are on the road and unable return and receive a replacement. And yes there is power to the point where it plugs in and the fuse is fine.

It works
Bought this last month. As it states…it doesn’t come with any brackets to affix it anywhere which is a shame. Good product USB only but wouldn’t buy it again without the bracket.

Questions
Do you think it's good to power a heated vest ?
A USB Heated vest ??? Usb that is provided is 5v 3amp. So if your vest is more than that , forget it

Will it drain the battery when the bike is not in use?
Yes, it will. I have my unit attached to a fuse block that is only powered (through a relay) when the bike's electrical system is turned on. Otherwise, one can just disconnect the SAE plug when the bike is not running. Mind you, using a relay is a better fail safe. I actually removed the SAE plug, for a cleaner front brake reservoir mount install on my '10 650 V-Strom.
