Quality Product
Excellent quality product, great value. And free shipping, despite the weight. When it arrived at my door it had a sticker "heavy-greater than 50lbs"

Well built
This balancer is well built and very sturdy. Assembly was straight forward. The balance shaft is straight and the cones seem to have next to no runout so balancing should be very accurate. The bearings run very freely without any drag. One issue I encountered is the locking screw for the truing indicator is metric M5-.8mm but the part it threads into is SAE 10-24. I didn't have a SAE screw to replace it so I re-tapped the hole to M5 instead. Be prepared to replace this screw with a 10-24. No big deal. Lasty, for whatever reason there was an extra set of cones included in the box. An error at the factory I guess. My gain. I have the extra cones stored on the balance shaft as seen in my photo. Don't be misled by this. It's just a good place to store them for now. I think I made the right decision buying this stand over one of the cheaper ones available on A****N. I also no longer have to deal with rushed, innaccurate balancing from my local tire shop.

Good product and price
Although I have not balanced or trued a wheel on this yet I am very happy with the fit and finish of the product. I compared this with a balancing stand available from a Canadian company based in Winnipeg. The Bikemaster stand is a little more money but I think it is a more refined product and worth the price difference.
In addition the balancing stand arrived at my house a day early in fine condition. Well done Canada Post and Fortnine.

Questions
Are you able to balance a BMW rear wheel with this
No confirmed fitments. Fits wheel widths 30cm wide and 54cm tall
Date published: 2023-04-30
Is the 54cm tall the height from the top of the base to the shaft or is it the max diameter or radius of the wheel + tire?
This is the full height of the tire from top to bottom.

Can you balance a wheel off a single sided swing arm bike?
No. This is not for use with single sided swingarms

Does this work to balance and TRUE a spoked motocross wheel?
Yes, absolutely, it comes with shaft, cones and spacers to fit just about any wheel.
Date published: 2018-11-08
What is the diameter of the shaft?
12 mm shaft diameter. I got a piece of 5/8" chrome moly shafting from a machine shop and made 2 new tapered bushings with larger o.d. because most newer sport bikes have much larger diameter bearings. As shipped the bushings are 35 mm o.d. which is ok ...

The supplied shaft doesn't fit smaller bikes. Do they sell a thinner shaft?
No, BikeMaster do not sell a thinner shaft.

Will this work on a 21” tire
Yes

Could this be used with additional cones to balance car tires ? What is the diameter of the rod that straddles the roll bearings ?
The rod on my balancer is 1/2" in diameter and is 16-1/2" long.
I don't know how you would use this system for a car tire.
