Simple installation. Missing a few features.
This lock is great. It allows me to handle my business without carrying my full face helmet. The only things I would add would be grippy rubber inside where the lock wraps the handle bars or frame tubes. Also, I would love the lock to be spring loaded so I wouldn’t have to use the key to lock my helmet in. A great idea I had was to get myself retractable key holderd and installed that inside my jacket so the key is not on my keychain scratching my key housing and gas tank.

Does the Job!
Bought two of these for our two bikes and could not find anywhere to install the one on the second bike. Ended up mounting one to my rear grab bar as it was better than no where. These should come with a rubber liner to protect the metal pipe. It also requires the key to close it - will not click shut when you push on it - that's a pain as you need to hold your helmet, the strap in the cleat, shut the cleat, and turn the key - all at the same moment. Would work good with 3 people close by.

Dont buy if you own a Triumph Bonneville
Took a chance though it may probably fit on the bars only,no worries sold it on kijji

Motorcycle Helmut Lock
Unfortunately I returned the lock . There was a bare spot on the painted portion I scratched it with my fingernail and was able to take more paint off

Make sure you’ve got 1” handlebars!
Sadly this doesn’t fit my handlebars and it’s too late to return it for a refund. Otherwise it looks well made for a 1” diameter bar.

Questions
The helmet lock has a one way screw for installing. How do I remove it if I sell my bike?
I removed mine with a sharp new flat screw driver bit, with some pressure so it does`t slip

If I was to Buy two of theses locks can I get them Keyed alike?
Bikers Choice Helmet Locks come each with their own key. A locksmith may be able to re-key them to match, but as they are when we send them, each would use a different key.

How does this lock the helmet exactly? I have a 2019 CB300R and I cannot figure out how that small clip on the mount can lock the helmet?
You position the helmet so the D ring hooks into the clip. The clip is not spring loaded, it has to be held into place while you turn the key. Easy peasy.
