Hello Can you tell me how this throttle is fastened to the handlebar? I have seen set screws, welding and expandsion joint. The site does not provide any information other than cutting off 4 inches off the bar.
Pretty sure I used set screws. I would also suggesting ordering extra bearings, mine busted apart in the first month, they are really poorly made, but other than that I'm happy with the (Infernal) throttle - it is a pain to install though.

I'm wondering about the durability of these. I've heard some bad things. Has anyone been running it without issues?
I tried two of these throttles and both of them failed before I even got on the road - the bearing assembly is terrible and made from weak materials. I had it attached to an S&S Shorty carb using teflon-lined cable housings so there wasn't a lot of force required to rotate the throttle, but it didn't take many twists of the grip before I heard a 'crunch' and it became useless. I wasn't willing to find a better bearing assembly and try to find a way to make this throttle work, so I returned the first for a replacement and the second for a refund.
