Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bright LEDs The lights look good and they are very bright. I'm rating them a 3 because the wires are very short(5 inches) and it caused the solder point to be very close to where it feeds into the fender.(not ideal location) I also had to return and replace one because the threading was loose and wouldn't stay tight on the bolt. The customer service was very good and they made the return process very easy.

                  Questions

The OEM light on my 2003 FXST Softail Standard only has 2 wires. Will this light still work not using the third wire? Is the third wire a ground wire that needs to be connected into the the wiring system? If not can an adequate replacement be suggested?

                  Asked by: Comadose
As per the manufacturer, the third wire in that light is if you want to run it as a running light. It will still function without connecting that wire.

Do we need to add some module or regulator or resistance or it is really plug and play?
