Small fix to make it perfect
Love the unobstructed view and the retro look, but as soon as you get a bit of speed up it rattled like crazy, as it is only affixed by 3 snaps. I put weather stripping along the inside edge and it took the rattle out completely, I can now turn my head sideways at freeway speeds and no rattle at all. Worth the money once this small issue was addressed

Avoid the mirror coated one
I bought two shields a little while back, the clear and the mirror one. I love the quality and fit of these shields, but the mirror one was shipped to me with a slight scratch. I initially thought it was dirt so by ever so slightly rubbing it, the mirror coat started to peel even more. I did not bother returning the shield as I assume they would say it was my fault. I would not hesitate to buy any one of these shields except the mirror coating one as it scratches just by looking at it!

It’s just ok.
I absolutely love the Biltwell Bonanza helmet and these bubble visors provide amazing protection and visibility. My only complaint is that these bubbles are advertised as “anti-fog” and they are far from it. They fog up worse then any full face I have ever worn and without vents I find myself pushing the helmet further up as to breath out the bottom. Other then that a wonderful product.

So I ended up buying the regular smoke and the mirrored gold visor
Super light super easy to put on your helmet super easy take off now the mirrored visor one is beyond easy to put any sort of smudge marks on with your hand if you touch it with any dirt or some sort of oil or whatever on your hand you’ll put a finger mark on your visor.
I would recommend if you’re using the mirrored visor do you always have a soft cloth in your pocket so you can wipe it down.
I definitely will be ordering more.

Does the job.
Bought 2 of these shields, it works well. But you have too play with the button snaps to get them in position for your helmet, however they give that satisfying snap when you put it on. So you feel that it's going to come off and it did on the highway. There quite tuff and it survived and is still usable. I consistently check it every time I put my helmet on and it still came off.

Do these fit the Bell 500's?
We cannot guarantee the fit, but it should fit the stock 3-snap visor configuration on most DOT helmets. Bell do sell a specific bubble shield for Custom 500 helmets though, which you can find here:

If i buy a new Bitwell Bonanza helmet, will this fit it? Or do i need "Biltwell Gringo S/Lane Splitter Gen 1 Helmet Baseplate Kit", or Gen 2 kit?
This item will fit any 3 snap Biltwell Gringo and Biltwell Bonanza Helmets without any kits.
